Mr. Kit FitzSimons and I are collaborating on a little stop-motion Lego animation based on the 1966 Batman television series. We've never really done stop-motion, but we won't let that get in the way as we spend far too much time, energy, and money in the pursuit of this project. The initial idea was spawned around Christmastime, when my sister gave me two of the large Batman Lego sets; I already owned a number of others, and Kit has acquired the Arkham Asylum set. I bought iStopMotion for us to do the animation with, and my pal Jason Golliher will be writing and recording music for the episode.
I don't want to give a lot of details away at this point, mainly due to the fact that we've barely discussed the most basic of plot ideas, let alone written a script. Kit and I are in the middle of helping put on a comedy festival, and after that, we'll get going on this project. I just wanted to start the blog to help keep track of some of the ideas and online resources we're finding.
And off we go!
